Yes, I provide templates when they’re helpful, and yes, I’ll guide you step-by-step. But my goal isn’t for you to recreate the exact same painting in the exact same style every time. I want to teach you how to paint, experiment, and eventually make more of your own creative decisions.

You don’t need a fancy studio — just a small space, a few basic supplies, and a willingness to have fun. We’ll provide a simple supply list so you know exactly what to grab, and Christie will always offer easy alternatives if you don’t have the exact brush or color.
Most members start with:

• Acrylic paints (I have a collaboration with DecoArt and have curated a special set of colors that I use frequently. This is NOT required - but many Tribe Sisters appreciate the convenience.) 

• A few basic brushes

• Mixed Media Pad for practicing 

• Canvas (or canvas board)

• Palette (paper plates work!)

• Cup of water + paper towels

• Sometimes we explore with palette knives, modeling paste, gel medium, watercolors, mixed media etc! (this is all totally optional) 

✨ Use what you have, start where you are. Perfection is not required — progress is the goal.

Because you don’t just get me as your teacher.

You become part of a sisterhood of women at all different stages of their creative journeys who genuinely want to see one another succeed.

Some are picking up a brush for the first time. Others have been painting for years. Some paint purely because it brings them joy. Others are selling their artwork, taking commissions, creating products from their paintings, or teaching their own local paint parties.

And they share what they’re learning.

Inside our private Tribe community, women ask questions, share ideas, give real advice, celebrate wins, troubleshoot problems, and help the women coming along behind them.

Your creativity does not have to become a business, but if you want to explore making money from your art, I want you to have that opportunity.

You have permission to sell the finished paintings you create from Tribe projects. You can also use YOUR finished paintings to create products such as prints, greeting cards, and other items to sell.

And if you’d like to teach, Tribe Sisters may use the paintings and templates to teach local, in-person paint parties.

There are a few important boundaries that protect my original teaching materials. My tutorials, instructional steps, and videos cannot be sold, shared, reproduced, or taught online. You also cannot create art kits that include my instructional steps.

But YOUR finished artwork is yours to enjoy, share, sell, turn into products, or use as you explore teaching local paint parties.

And remember, you’re not exploring those possibilities alone. We already have Tribe Sisters selling their artwork, creating products, and teaching paint parties who share their experiences and advice inside our private community so you don't have to figure out how to do this alone. 

I completely understand wanting to know you’ll actually USE something before spending money on it. And sometimes the hesitation isn’t really about the $47. It’s that little voice wondering, What if I join and don’t make time for it? 

That’s exactly why I’ve structured Tribe differently.

At $47 a month, that works out to about $11 a week, or about $1.55 a day.

For perspective, one of my workshops can retail for $37 on its own.

Yes. You can cancel anytime on the monthly membership. No awkwardness, no hoops to jump through.

If you join yearly, you are locked in that one year contract and then can cancel or switch to monthly after your contract. I recommend this only if you are fully committed for 1 year.
