Hi, I’m Christie — and I help women who think they “aren’t creative” learn how to paint with confidence and joy.
I’ve been painting for over 25 years, with more than 5 years of college-level art education and professional training. Before taking my business online, I spent over 6 years teaching sold-out, in-person paint nights — watching women walk in saying “I’m not creative” and walk out with a smile and a painting they were proud of.
I started The Social Easel in 2013 with a heart to bring art to women everywhere — especially those who never thought they could do it.
After decades of painting and teaching thousands of students, I developed my signature teaching style, which:
