Hi,

I am Christie Hawkins, life-long artist and owner of The Social Easel!

I chose to do the Whimsical Christmas Tree painting tutorial to celebrate my 7 year anniversary of The Social Easel!!

It all started with a small paint party in my home with this painting! The very FIRST painting I ever created for The Social Easel.

I was so nervous! So scared I couldn't teach my friends how to paint because they had no experience. They were my guinea pigs! lol! I did it and The Social Easel was born!!

After years of teaching locally, I have taken my easy to follow, step-by-step painting lessons online to reach thousands of women.

My goal is to help each and everyone of you find the JOY in painting and to find that creative side you just haven't met yet! She's in there and I am going to help you find her!
