Every original painting begins long before the first brushstroke. That's why I've organized this Masterclass to walk you through the same creative process I use every time I begin a new piece of artwork.
Each module builds on the last, giving you the confidence to move from inspiration to original artwork, one step at a time.
Module 1 • Gathering Inspiration
Every painting starts with an idea.
In this module, I'll show you how I gather inspiration from my own photographs, Pinterest, nature, and still life arrangements. You'll begin training your eye to recognize possibilities everywhere and build an inspiration library you'll return to again and again.
You'll learn how to:

Module 2 • Building Your Composition
Before I ever pick up a paintbrush, I spend time making creative decisions.
I'll show you how I simplify what I see, create stronger compositions, use thumbnails, understand the Elements of Art, and develop a solid plan before painting begins.
You'll learn how to:
• Simplify complex scenes
• Create stronger compositions

Module 3 • Understanding Color
Color doesn't have to feel overwhelming.
I'll walk you through the same methods I use to choose palettes, understand value relationships, create harmony, and use color intentionally to bring a painting to life.
